7 November 2018No race or culture is superior and none is inferior: Let’s co-exist and unite in our cultural diversity. This was Aberdare Cables’ message to its staff during the celebrations of this year’s Heritage Day held in 24 September 2018.
Aberdare Cables has more 1400 employees from different racial, ethical and cultural backgrounds, therefore the management has taken upon itself to build culture of unity and co-existence amongst employee and apply zero tolerance to racism and cultural hegemony in our premises.
As a Pan-Africanist company that adhere to the principles of Ubuntu, we believe that South Africans should learn to co-exist and unite in their diversity to build a peaceful, united and flourishing rainbow nation. Our founding father of democratic South Africa, President Nelson Mandela once said: “Our rich and varied cultural heritage has a profound power to help build our nation”.
