AberSchool

To assist in addressing the low mathematics and science subject pass rate in the country as well as encourage pupils to take on these subjects, Aberdare has taken the initiative of investing in these subjects. This will enable more pupils to access tutors who will assist them in improving their understanding and academic performance in these subjects, in turn increasing their opportunity of accessing broader prospects within the workplace. In our Pietermaritzburg plant we have named this project “AberSchool”, where we are giving tutorial assistance to schools with Grade 10, 11 & 12 learners with provision of extra curricula lessons for mathematics and Science subjects.
