Solar and Storage Live Africa Exhibition 2025
Solar & Storage Live Africa boasts itself as Africa’s largest renewable energy exhibition, celebrating the technologies leading the transition to a greener, smarter, more decentralised energy system. The exhibition had six legs, with four hosted in Africa: two in South Africa, one in Egypt, and one in Kenya. The other two are in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Around 650 exhibitors brought their best foot forward with some state-of-the-art stands designed to capture the attention of visitors and customers. The three-day exhibition, held from 25-27 March 2025 at the Nasrec Expo Center in Johannesburg, was attended by approximately 20,000 people from around 40 African countries.
For Aberdare, this was an opportunity not to be missed. Together with the mother company, Hengtong, Aberdare delivered a state-of-the-art stand that captured visitors’ attention, sparked their interest, and made them desire to have a conversation with the brand, including fellow exhibitors. With the above said, surely the stand achieved the intended purpose and helped the company to achieve its objectives.
Aberdare, a member of the Hengtong Group, occupied Stand C130, Hall 7, and on display were renewable energy solutions and, of course, cable samples illustrating different cable offerings. The company also gathered a team of salespeople, technical staff, and senior management for customer engagement and to enhance customers’ brand experience. With a reputation and expertise spanning over 75 years, Aberdare doesn’t disappoint. Many customers praised the company for good products and exceptional service. Customers wished the company well in future endeavours, especially now that the company, together with Hengtong, is in the renewable energy space.
Exhibitions, by their nature, provide space for comfortable somewhat informal and honest conversations between businesses and their customers, this is one of many reasons Aberdare appreciates and partake in these events. There are also lessons learned from engagements with customers that the business takes note of.
Aberdare, a member of the Hengtong Group, looks forward to Solar & Storage Live Africa 2026. The business also would like to thank the organisers, customers, and everyone who came and had conversations with us.
