Solar Power Africa 2025

The Solar Power Africa/Africa Energy Indaba exhibition was held on the 4th-6th March 2025 at the CTICC in Cape Town. The 2025 Solar Power Africa exhibition was co-located with the Africa Energy Indaba, creating one of the largest energy events on the continent. This exciting collaboration represents a significant milestone in advancing Africa’s energy future. Solar power, as a clean, sustainable, and transformative energy source, holds the key to unlocking Africa's enormous potential

Africa’s huge economic growth potential is often hindered by a variety of issues including a lack of reliable energy supply. Solar energy solution is seen as the perfect solution for this challenge addressing pressing energy needs, driving economic growth and addressing the need for a greener future.

The Solar Power Africa exhibition allows for role players within the continent and abroad, to come together and have in person conversations regarding the sustainable energy solutions for the ever growing demand for energy.

Among a variety of exhibitors were financial services, law firms, manufacturing, distributors and resellers, and many other service and product providers’.

Aberdare Cables participated and strategically showcased a full range offerings. This was done with the full understanding that although the organization also offers renewable energy solutions the company’s strength is in cable solutions and ultimately most of the solutions exhibited requires cable. Exhibitions by their nature offers ample opportunity for networking, a chance to assess latest industry offerings and great opportunity for prospecting. 

The stand was neatly and professionally done to represent the brand, in an effort to make engagements memorable to Aberdare’s customers and potential clients.

Aberdare’s Executive Director: Marketing, Sales and Distribution Mishack Matla, General Manager: Contractors Samuel Perumal, Hiren Lachman, Taswald Theunis and Liard Ziemann represented the company at this three day exhibition.
